Screw Juicer

The screw juicer uses spiral propulsion to squeeze and gradually reduce the volume of the spiral chamber, thereby forming the squeezing of materials. The equipment consists of a front support, a feeding hopper, a screw, a filter screen, a juice container, a rear support, and a slag discharge groove. The left end of the screw spindle is supported in the rolling bearing seat, and the right end is supported in the handwheel bearing seat. The motor drives the screw to work through a pair of triangular belts.

Product working principle

The crushed fruit pulp, juice, and skin enter the screw juicer through the feeding hopper. As the bottom diameter of the screw gradually increases along the direction of the slag outlet while the pitch gradually decreases, it forms a squeezing effect on the material. The rotation direction of the spiral spindle is counterclockwise when viewed from the feeding hopper towards the slag hopper. The raw materials are added to the feeding hopper and are compressed under the push of the screw. The squeezed juice flows into the bottom juice container through the filter screen, while the waste is discharged through the annular gap formed between the screw and the conical part of the pressure regulating head. The size of the gap can be adjusted by moving the pressure regulating head along the axial direction. By manually rotating the handwheel bearing seat handwheel, the gap size between the pressure regulating head and the spiral cone surface can be changed, that is, adjusting the resistance of slag discharge can change the slag discharge rate. However, if the gap is too small, under strong squeezing, some of the slag particles will be squeezed out through the filter screen together with the juice. Although the juice output increases, the quality of the juice relatively decreases. The size of the gap should be determined according to the specific process requirements of the user. Thus achieving the automatic separation of juice and residue.
