A client from Nepal came to visit the factory - not the kind of visit where someone walks the floor, nods politely, and asks for a brochure. This one came with an engineering background and a list of real questions. The kind of visit where you actually learn something on both sides.

What Brought him Here

The client is planning a carbonated beverage production line and had been evaluating suppliers for a while. Before arriving, they'd already done their research. They knew roughly what they needed - capacity range, filling format, CO₂ dosing requirements - and wanted to verify whether Intop Machinery could back up what was on the website.

That set the tone for the whole visit.

The Conversation With Peter

Most of the time was spent in a working session with Peter, Intop's general manager. The topics covered were specific: mixing ratios for carbonated drinks, how syrup preparation integrates with the carbonation system, pressure management across the filling line, and what happens at high altitude where CO₂ behavior changes.

That last point came from the client. Nepal's production facilities sit at elevation, and carbonation at altitude behaves differently than at sea level - it's a variable that most equipment suppliers don't account for unless pushed. Peter walked through how the system can be configured to compensate, and the client pushed back with follow-up questions that went further into the technical detail.

It was a proper back-and-forth. Not a sales pitch.

By the end of the session, the client said the technical depth matched what they'd hoped for - and that finding a supplier who could engage at that level had been harder than expected.

What Comes Next

The project is at the detailed planning stage. Line specifications, layout, and a formal proposal are being worked through. Nothing signed yet, but the foundation is solid.
