Kenyan Partner Returns to Intop Machinery for In-Depth Equipment Review

This week, we hosted an old friend from Kenya. The visit was a great chance to catch up and show him around our latest production lines.

Our Kenyan partner has worked with us for many years. He knows our equipment well and has seen how it performs in real African conditions.

The tour started in the main workshop. He spent a long time looking over our milk processing lines — from raw milk reception all the way to filling and packaging. He paid close attention to the pasteurizers, homogenizers, and UHT systems. What caught his eye most was how stable and efficient everything runs, even with varying local power and water conditions. He kept saying how reliable the machines have been for his team back home.

After the milk lines, we moved on to the ice cream production area. This was clearly the highlight for him. He examined the freezers, aging tanks, mixers, extrusion machines, and hardening tunnels very carefully. He tested the controls himself and asked plenty of detailed questions about cleaning, maintenance, and how easy it is to switch between different recipes. You could tell he was seriously thinking about expanding his frozen dessert side.

He didn’t hold back with the compliments. “Your equipment has held up really well,” he told us more than once. “The quality is consistent, the downtime is low, and your support team always responds quickly when we need help.” He especially liked the thoughtful design touches that make daily operation smoother for local operators.

By the end of the visit, it was obvious he has strong plans to buy more. He’s looking at adding capacity to his milk processing and bringing in a full new ice cream production line. We sat down and talked through what he needs, how we can adapt the setup for Kenyan conditions, and what kind of training and after-sales support would work best. The conversation was very positive, and we’re now moving forward on the details.
